Five Tricks to organize your kitchen cabinet

by on May 12, 2016

You are cooking in the kitchen and there is an ingredient urgently required for your dish. You search the whole cabinet for it, but in vain. Does this happen with you too often? If yes, then you need the following 5 tricks to organize your cabinet. Implement them and you will never waste your time searching for anything.

  1. Empty the cabinet

Remove all the items from your cabinet and vacate it completely. This will give you time to check what all you have stored in your cabinet. Get rid of the unwanted and expired items. You may also clean the inner shelves of your cabinet with a wet cloth.

  1. Divide the items

After collecting all the necessary items at one place, divide them in various categories. Group them into spices, sauces, creams, etc. and keep them together. Now check how much space is available in the cabinet for each group.

  1. Make a plan

Chart out a plan to determine where you will place each group. The items that you need the most should be placed on the shelf that is most accessible while the least needed things may be placed at the back or in the corner of your Sleek kitchen cabinet.

  1. Designate areas

You have separated all the categories but may still be confused about the groups. Use colored paper sheets to designate areas to varied groups. You may also use signs or names to distinguish each group. Place the sheets on the shelves so that all of them are visible when you open the cabinet.

  1. Rearrange the items

Rearrange the items back into the cabinet as per the designed plan. Leave some space between groups so that each category is separated from the rest. Keep the taller bottles at the back and shorter ones in the front for better convenience.

This 5-step method will give you a systematic cabinet. This single investment of time will also help you to save many minutes in the long-run and add convenience to your Sleek Modular Kitchen.
